Make the most of the sunshine this summer and come and explore
the City of London and the many activities, performances and events
on offer.
The eagerly anticipated
River Thames:
Source to Sea Exhibition inside the West Walkway of Tower
Bridge will be launched on Wednesday 30th June. This
contemporary photographic exhibition follows the River Thames on
its 346km (215 mile) journey. From the 14th July Tower Bridge in
partnership with the Guy Fox History Project will launch a kid’s
passport activity adding an interactive element to the Exhibition.

July sees the start of the More London Free Music Festival, with
performances every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday lunchtime and
evening. Held in the outdoor amphitheatre known as the Scoop
performers include Smile, who will play organic acoustic sets and
MT Hedz a London based Jazz Fusion outfit, with many more playing
throughout the rest of July. For more details visit

offers alternative ideas for days out in London. St Pauls Cathedral
is currently showcasing Flare II a dramatic steel wire creation by
one of Britain’s most famous sculptors Antony Gormley, whilst the
Tower of London has family learning initiatives where the hidden
stories of the Tower are discovered through a range of arts and
crafts activities.
